LEWIS, Philip Clifford - (Ret'd Captain - Air Canada) (Member - Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34, Orillia) at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto following a tragic accident, Phil succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the age of 63. Phil Lewis, of Orillia, beloved husband of Joan Lewis (nee: Shedlarski) and loving father of Jessica of Orillia. Son of the late Clifford and Marion Lewis and step-son of Mrs. Catherine Lewis of Orillia. Dear brother of Karen (predeceased) and husband William Seedhouse of Beeton and step-brother of Cindy & husband Jock Fairbairn of Burlington and Kim & husband Chris Orr of Ottawa. Fondly remembered by mother-in- law Mrs. Lucy Shedlarski (James predeceased) of Forty Fort, P.A. and the extended family. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Following cremation, the family will receive friends in the Normandy Room of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34, Orillia, 215 Mississaga St., East on Thursday, June 17th from 1400 Hrs. (2 P.M.) to 1600 Hrs. (4 P.M.) immediately followed by a Celebration of Phil's Life. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia at a later date.
