PALOMBO, Jack - December 10, 1939 - July 16, 2010 Jack Palombo passed away peacefully on Friday, July 16, 2010 at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife Mary, his three children Albert, Ines, Vicky and their respective families.

Jack began his airline industry career in 1958 with the Israeli Air Force. In 1964 he and Mary immigrated to Canada where he culminated a thirty-five year career as an aircraft safety and maintenance inspector with Air Canada. Jack was proud of his heritage but equally proud to be a Canadian citizen and enjoyed all the beauty and adventure that the Canadian landscape had to offer including, camping, fishing, golfing and travel. He had an intrepid spirit and a love of life.

Funeral Services will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, (North East Corner of Highway 22X and 37 Street S.W.) on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements in care of the CHEVRA KADISHA OF CALGARY, North East Corner of Highway 22X and 37 Street S.W., Telephone: 403-244-4717.
