 HARAN, Jean Roger 1930 - 2010 - Captain Jean Roger Haran, an Air Canada retiree, passed away in Montreal on July 26 at the age of eighty. Husband of Muriel Bureau. Other than his wife, his leaves to mourn his children Ann (Larry Alpin) and Richard (Christine Schattauer), his granchildren Paul and Stefan Alpin, his sister Marguerite, his brother-in-law Dr. David Ross (Michele), his nephews Pierre and Eric, as well as other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences at: 816 Ste-Croix, Ville St-Laurent on Thursday, July 29 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, July 30 from 9 a.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 30 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 875 boul. Marcel-Laurin, Ville St. Laurent.

As a newly hired pilot, I was fortunate to be part of Sonny's crew on occasion. He was one of those pilots that we all wanted to fly with. I learned a lot from him and I hope I passed on those qualities to my crew. Thanks Sonny.
