STEWART, Alan William - December 15, 1947 - June 3, 2011 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Alan Stewart, after a lengthy illness on Friday, June 3. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Mary (Gavin Foster) and grandson Andrew of Whistler, son Donald (Lindsay) of Vancouver, Bonnie, as well as many good friends.

Al was a proud Air Canada employee for over 25 years, starting as a station attendant while in university in London, Ontario. He worked in STOC in YYZ, group sales and spent several years in finance in YUL. His love of aviation was passed on to his children - Mary, an Air Canada employee 1995-2007 in In-Flight Service and Corporate Communications (editor of Horizons) and Donald, currently a check pilot with Central Mountain Air.

For the past 16 years Al was a financial advisor with Assante Wealth Management. A memorial service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, Cobourg, Ontario on Thursday, June 9 at 1 pm www.maccoubrey.com .
